DESCRIPTION

Rise in soil water level and exposure to water were major challenges for concrete works during the construction of Golden Tower, a twin Tower (i.e.  Tower  A  &  B).  Hence,  the  need  to  waterproof  balcony  and  toilet floor areas, swimming pools and Jacuzzis, and then, the roof slabs.

Waterproofing  became  a  necessity  in  order  to  prevent  water  seepage through  the  concrete  which  could  lead  to  corrosion  of  reinforcements and finishes where applicable, thereby having an adverse effect on the building
