UNMOLDING AGENT TO EMULSIFIED IN WATER

CHARACTERISTICS:

DESCOF-A is a liquid unmoulding agent, which can be emulsified in water, with an oily and colourless-light yellow appearance. It’s been especially designed to make easier the unmoulding of beams, girders, and concrete pre-cast elements, thus avoiding adherence and scaling.

DESCOF-A improves the final appearance of moulds, without reducing resistance, making easier, at the same time, the separation of frames. DESCOF-A contains no aggressive products for concrete and does not let any remainders on the mould plates.

METHOD OF USE:

DESCOF-A is always used emulsified in water. In order to prepare the emulsion, always add the necessary amount of DESCAOF-A on the amount of water and mix.

The mixture proportions of DESCOF-A with water will depend on the difficulty of the moulding and on the state of the mould plates. In general we recommend one part of DESCOF-A with 8-12 parts of water. When adding DESCOF-A on the water and stirring, there will appear a milky-white emulsion which can be applied on the supports by brush, soaked clothes or immersion, depending always on the size or type of moulding. Apply the required amount to saturate the support.

For an easier use, and making the best of the product, we recommend the use of our spraying system TANK-SPRAYER (5 or 8 litres) since it’s faster and reduces

consumption of the product. Normally it’s not necessary to clean the mould plates in between consecutive uses. Any way, the person applying the product should check the state of the supports before applying again.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

The emulsions of DESCOF-A in water have a limited stability, so it’s recommended to use them as fast as possible after preparation. In cases when it’s necessary to use the emulsion more than 2-3 hours after preparation, it’s recommended to stir the emulsion again before applying.
